What kind of photograph works best?
We recommend either a "3 x 5", "4 x 6" or "5 x 7" 35 mm or Advantix photo.

If you send a professional photo, you are required to obtain permission from the photographer or studio. Most will grant you permission since they cannot offer you a product similar to ours.

We do not recommend Poloroid photos as they generally do not reproduce with the necessary resolution.

Can I send you a digital file?
Yes. We recommend sending your photo in either Tiff or Jpeg format saved at a minimum of 150 DPI. Please ensure the file is no larger than 1 megabyte in size. Email the file to: proud@wi.rr.com

What else can I do to create a wonderful picture?
Ensure you get a close-up photo of your baby. This is the number one mistake made by most of our customers. Your friends and family are aching to see all of the details and will be disappointed if your photo looks like it was taken from across the room. Zoom on in!

We have also seen wonderful photos that include a prop. For example, if your anouncement has a sports theme consider placing a baseball in the photo or prop your baby up against a baseball glove. Use your imagination and be creative!
